On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo - Prof. Timothy Abiodun Adebayo FCIA, I write to commiserate with the Balogun dynasty of Ijebuland on the demise of a patriarch of Ijebu royalty, a man of great virtues and dignity, an iconic Christian leader in Yorubaland, a legend of repute in law and banking - Otunba Michael Subomi Balogun CON who (Founder, FCMB) who joined the triumphant saints on the evening of 18th May, 2023 at the ripe age of 89 years old. I pray and hope that the good memories of Daddy, our grandmaster will continue to give Bolaji, Ladi, Jibola, and Gboyega plus the entire family a sound comfort. Baba was a father to all of us that once worked in FCMB Group, a legacy left by him. He was a mentor to the letter, everything about Baba Subomi needs to be copied and pasted into everyone's life.
