Sulaiman Akinrinola
We praise God for Baba's life of service with love for mankind. The stock of upright and God fearing men has been depleted again and the number is reducing fast. May God grant his soul an abode in the midst and company of all Saints and give comfort to everyone left behind to mourn his transition into glory.

Baba, yours was a life well lived. You were a rare combination of godliness, resilience, hardwork, integrity and candour. You were an inspiration to me personally, though I never met you in person. You came, you saw and you conquered! May God rest your gentle and caring soul. May God grant the family you left behind the strength to bear this irreparable loss. Rest on, Olori Omoba Akile Ijebu. It's saddened as your demise was a shock to people of Ogun state and the nation at large. As an erudite and icon in the banking and investment sector whose contribution to the growth and development of the nation can't be ignored. Although, I haven't met you physically but your impacts in ijebuland which coincidentally where I come from can be felt. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, business associates and ijebuland as a whole for the irreplaceable loss. I shared with you the bereavement of the patriarch of balogun family and as Olori Omo Oba of ijebuland. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this period. In the 90s when I was in primary school living around Molipa expressway roundabout in Ijebu-Ode, the roundabout is 5 mins drive to Otunba Tunwase Court, Otunba's white mansion in Ijebu-Ode. A white Rolls Royce and a police escort usually pass through the expressway. Anytime we hear the siren, we will all rush out and once we see a white Rolls Royce we know it’s Otunba Tunwase as we all call him. We will see him in his white Agbada sitting majestically inside the Rolls Royce. We will wave at him and sometimes when he is looking in our direction, he will smile and wave back at us. Otunba made us have big dreams right from childhood. Goodnight Otunba Tunwase omo Iye Subomi
