A man with a heart of gold is gone. An angel in human form has finally left us. A philanthropist who impacted many lives has gone. The father to the fatherless is no more. You created jobs for millions of Nigerian youths and the world in general. Thanks for what you did for humanity and May God continue to rest your soul. Amen.

Otunba Olasubomi Balogun spent a great deal of his life on earth impacting and investing in the lives of other people. He knew he had a gift and didn’t hoard it but like a grain of wheat, he sowed it in the lives of others. We are all witnesses to just how much fruit this noble investment has yielded. Rest in peace great man.

The life of one we love is never lost. Its influence goes on through all the lives it ever touched. You have empower many generations and your legacy will never be forgotten. Rest on our great grand father and a great leader. I pray God almighty grant you internal rest in is kingdom.

Otunba Olasubomi Balogun was like a father to all of us at FCMB. His visionary leadership, philantropy and unreserved care for employees was unassailable. We will miss the fatherly role he played to us. While we mourn his demise, we are consoled by the fact that he lived a life worthy of emulation. Memories of Otunba will remain indelible in our hearts. May the Almighty God grant him eternal rest as we pray for the repose of his soul.

I started my first professional career in FCMB which I still work and this was because you had the great vision of creating this great company. Thank you for being a father figure, For impacting our lives and living a great legacy worthy of emulating. Continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord Sir.

You were a great man. When I was about to join FCMB in 2022, I took out time to read about you - the founder and honestly I was in awe of your managerial skills, legacy and how the family has successfully taken up same line of leadership skills and responsibility from you sir. Indeed you have lived a good life. I pray that your creator sees you in this light as well. May your legacy continue even after you have gone to rest.
